- How old do I have to be to hire a car with Autoclick?
The minimum age for hiring a car with Autoclick is 18. Drivers under 21 can only hire cars of the MBMR, MBAR, MTMR, MTAR, EDMR, CDMR and CVMR categories.
Drivers with a license newer than 24 months must contract the newly licensed driver extra. Drivers between 18 and 24, and over 70 years old must contract the young driver extra. Both options are available in the reservation process on our website. *IN FRANCE: The hirer must be over 20 years old and have a valid driving license issued by the competent authority at least 24 months old.
- What proof of identification (ID) / documentation do I need to bring with me when collecting the vehicle?
A valid driving licence and the identity document/passport. Driving licenses printed in non-Latin alphabets (Arabic, Chinese, Cyrillic, etc.) must be accompanied by an international driving license. Notarised translations are also accepted.
- Can I collect or return the vehicle outside of office hours?
Yes, you may return or collect the car outside of our office hours. The cost of this service is €30 per action outside of office hours.
- What happens if I return my hire vehicle late?
Autoclick provides all clients with a 59 minute grace period. Nevertheless, in the case of a late vehicle return, the period not agreed in the hire contract will be invoiced in accordance with the cover sheet of the hire contract, plus a surcharge of €40 per day.
- What happens if my flight is delayed?
In the case of your flight being delayed, you must simply notify the office. You can find more information on our offices, as well as contact telephone numbers, on this page.

- Is smoking permitted in the vehicle?
Autoclick operates with a strict no-smoking policy in all our vehicles. We will charge for the expense for special cleaning if a vehicle returned requires a special treatment to eliminate any trace of tobacco.
- Who is responsible for parking/traffic offence fines?
The hirer of the vehicle is solely responsible for fines due to traffic offences and the related administration expenses incurred during the hire period.
- Can anyone other than me drive the vehicle?
Yes, but the additional driver must be included in the hire contract. The second driver must also provide their valid driving license for inspection before becoming a driver identified in the hire contract. With Autoclick you will have an additional driver totally free.
- Can I return the vehicle to a different office?
Yes, you can return the car to another Autoclick office, provided that it is specified in the hire contract. This type of hire involves an additional cost, calculated in the price shown on our website.
- Can I visit another country with my hire car?
With your Autoclick rental car you can travel to Spain, Portugal, Andorra, France, Monaco, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Austria, Great Britain, Norway, Italy, Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Czech Republic, Romania , Slovenia, Croatia, Hungary, Greece, Poland, Bulgaria, Luxembourg, San Marino, Vatican City.
Journeys to Africa are not permitted and the use of ferries is prohibited. Crossing borders with the hire car has an additional one-off cost of €30.
- Can I reserve a vehicle and pay for it, even if I am not going to be the person who collects and drives it?
No, at the time of collection of the vehicle, the credit/debit card used for the payment must be provided. The name that appears on the credit/debit card used must also match the name of the driver.
- Do I have to return the vehicle with a full fuel tank?
Yes, our fuel policy is full/full; you collect the car with a full tank and must return it full. Otherwise, you will be charged for the lack of fuel plus the refuelling service.
